MAIOR (Management Artificial Intelligence and Operations Research), a global leader in the design and development of software solutions for public transport, chose Armundia Factory—a subsidiary of Armundia Group specializing in advanced ICT services—to support and improve its operational and production processes through the outsourcing of critical processes. The agreement specifically focuses on BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) services for Quality Assurance and software development, aiming to boost operational efficiency and optimize MAIOR’s platform releases.

Goals
MAIOR’s main objective was to increase production capacity, both in terms of the number of tests carried out on the software and the volume and frequency of releases. Within this framework, Armundia Factory provided a team of specialized professionals to integrate QA and development activities into MAIOR’s existing workflow.

Solution
Armundia Factory implemented a strategy on two main fronts:

  1. BPO for Quality Assurance: Highly qualified resources were integrated into MAIOR’s testing processes.   • Increase in Production Capacity: The integration of the QA team boosted MAIOR’s production capacity by 133%, allowing the company to manage a greater number of tests per development cycle. For each software release, between 100 and 600 tests were carried out, depending on the new features being tested.
  • Higher Release Frequency: The number of software releases aimed at product evolution increased by 90%, ensuring faster updates and continuous product improvement.
  • Enhanced Post-Release Stability: The adoption of advanced QA practices led to a significant improvement in the reliability of released versions, resulting in better overall product quality.
